Rising music star Nicki Minaj visited the BET set of106 and Park yesterday wearing a white Alexander Wang dress ($560) and a pair of open-toe boots from the Versace spring 2010 runway show. She finished the look with chunky gold jewelry, gold Minx nails, and a green wig.

So it seems Trina and Nicki Minaj have more in common than their rap skills! Both voluptuous ladies were spotted wearing Alexander Wang dresses and Versace Leather cutout platform boots from the brand’s Spring 2010 collections:

While Nicki stunted in Wang’s $683 Jersey mini dress and $1,950 Versace heels, Trina was a little more extravagant in an $851 off-the-shoulder sweater dress and the Versace heels in black and white.
Both spent a grip on their outfits, but which combination do you prefer?

Ja Rule Celebrates His Bday at NYC’s “Quo”

There was a lot going on in NYC last night, and unfortunately we weren’t able to attend every event. Although we were invited to Ja Rule’s Bday party held at Quo last night, we opted to hit up PR Guru,Lexi Chow’s bday party held at 48. We only heard good things about Ja Rule’s event, and we’ll definitely try to catch his bday party next year!

Ja Rule celebrated his birthday along with celebrity fashion stylist Fatima B, family, and friends. The star studded event was held at Quo night club and DJ Self, Da Bronx bomber Power 105.1 own DJ Will were on the turntables all night.

Judging by the pictures, it wasn’t a star studded event, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves regardless. Plus Ja had TWO fabulous cakes!

So what in the world has Ja Rule been up to lately? Well, Mpire Records, owned by Ja Rule will be releasing his album entitled Venni Vetti Vecci 2010 in the summer of 2010. Ja Rule has recently released a mixtape “Rule York” volume 1 where it features other talents from Mpire records hosted by DJ PMT. He also stars in the film “Just Another Day” directed by Peter Spirer which is soon to be released featuring others such as Wood Harris, Jamie Hector, Clifton Powell and Big Daddy Kane.

I wasn't really planning to watch this year's show until I spotted LAURELUXE's Fatima Shoulder Jewelry draped across Nicki Minaj' shoulders. Priced at $900, I love how Minaj's stylist Fatima B. decided to pair it with a hot pink minidress (which I am trying to get the details now!). And those shoes...oh my!
